Position: E/E - Functional Owner for Connected Drive Location: Beijing Scope of work: - Validation of Chinese local Connected Drive functions like ECall， provisioning and basic connectivity， BMW TeleServices， BMW Online and Store， Vehicle Finder， POI Send2Car， Remote Services - Updating vehicles/ test benches with newest telematics/infotainment software - Prepare test resources (reserve test cars/test benches and make sure the telematics system is ready for testing with correct HW and SW versions). - Establish and execute functional tests - Create problem tickets and follow up - Analyzing Ethernet traces and troubleshooting (Wireshark) - Quality check of test cases - Update China specific functional owner test cases - Attend test drives - Daily short stand up meetings - Weekly alignment with German counterpart Education level: - Bachelor or Master degree Specialization: - IT or telecommunication - Computer science - Automotive/vehicle Engineering - Electrical engineering Job Skill Requirements: - 2+ years of working experience in IT projects or automotive - Experience with Ethernet protocol， Ethernet communication and IP addresses - Experience with Linux Languages: - Excellent English both in written and oral.
